Genealogy Research Room

Quick Pick Menu

The genealogy research room is where I plan to add some of the information I have accumulated over the years in my research. The items attached here will take on several different forms. The first will be web compatable versions of my Family Tree Maker databases. There are currently two of these. The first is a compilation of information I have gathered on the Guth families of Lehigh County (formerly Northampton County, PA. The other is the complete file that I have gathered on the Ziegler/Siegfried families and their associated surnames. Other types of information dealing with the family will be headstone photos from various cemeteries, civil documents that I have gathered from county archives, and other documents such as land records and pension file affidavits from the National Archives.

I am providing this information here to aid other researchers who might be studying the same families, and hopefully to get additional information they might have. If you have any questions or think you might have information about these families I might be interested in, please feel free to contact me at mikez704@cox.net. Page details can be found below.

The base for this data are christening records extracted from Jordon Reformed Church in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA from 1760 to 1858. It includes other data provided by subscibers of the Guth/Gutt/Good Newsletter..

  Ziegler Family Database

This database represents the current status of my research into the Ziegler and Siegfried family genealogies. It will be updated from time to time. A special thanks goes to the many researchers who have helped me in my quest.
