"Later he {John Henry} moved upon a farm situate on the line of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, in the township of Lower Macungie, midway between Macungie and Alburtis. His son, Jonas, lived upon this farm until recently, when it was sold by the sheriff.

......

......Jonas, although at one time the possessor of a fine farm, has lost all, and now occupies, with his wife and son, a small tract of land in Lower Macungie.

Ephraim and his wife, as well as Jonas and his wife, are well advanced in years, and are well preserved."
