"On the 16th of December, 1745, he bought of the estate of Jan Lukens, from the executors, Abraham and Joseph Lukens, the amount of 150 acres for �225 --- probably a tract of forest. The boundries were: Beginning in corner of land of Henry Fry; then south, west 248 perches to a corner in great road; then along said road northwest 65 perches to corner of Christopher Hofner (or Hoffman); thence northeast 124 perches; then northwest 65 perches to another corner of Hoffman's land; thence northeast 124 perches by line of George Delp; thence southeast by said Delp's land 124 perches to beginning."
