"Abraham Berge died at Stone Hill on 6/4/1843. Born 8/22/1765, son of Christian and Mary Berge, he married Maria Halteman born 6/9/1773; died 3/13/1854, dau of Christian Halderman and Magdalena Freed. Buried at Herstein's Meeting house.
Issue: Magdalena, Catharine wife of Isaac Tyson; Hannah, wife of Daniel Kohl; David who married first Maria HERSTEIN, and 2nd to Mrs. Catharine East Springer; Elizabeth who married Samuel Halterman and 2nd to John Souter; Abraham who married Maria Moyer; Maria wife of John O Bower; Isaac who married Catharine Godshalk; Rachel, wife of Henry Gephart; Magdalena who died single, and Leah who died in childbirth. {NOTE: Supplied by Diana Q. on 3/3/2007}
