To dau. Margaret, wife of Jacob MAESS of Lynn Twp, Northampton Co., all
my wearing apparel and interest of £50, during her life and at her
decease the principal to her children.
Remainder of estate to be divided amongst all my daus, viz, Catherine
wife of Frederick REMICH, Susanna wife of David LEVAN, Elizabeth wife
of John ROTHARMEL, Magdalene wife of Anthony FISHER, Anna wife of Jacob
FEISCHER and Margaret wife of Jacob MAESS, son Joseph and heirs of
December'd. son John released from payment of any money due me by the
will of late husband - they having paid me in my lifetime.
Exrs: son Joseph and friend Sebastian ZIMMERMAN.

Individual Note: From the Centennial History of Kutztown, PA:
Catherine Siegfried, who was born in Oley in 1719 was married to to her brother-in-law, Frederick Romig. They settled in Lynn Township and later removed to Macungle and ther united with the Morovians. This union was blessed with twelve children. At the time of her death, October 7, 1793, Mrs. Romig was survived by one hundred and five grand-children and ten great-grand-children.

Individual Note: L. Borst has a lot of info on this family. One record shows her with a middle initial of "M". A record of Gloria Hartzell, one of her descendants, shows no initial. What was her middle name? She may have been named Susanna Margaretha after her aunt Susanna Margaretha Kutz.

Provides for wife Catherina, including the possession of the place
during widowhood.
Son John shall have the old place or 1/2 the land.
And son Jacob, the other 1/2 of the land.
Son Peter shall have 20 acres of land.
Son John shall pay £500 and son Jacob £400 for their land.
And the £900 be divided among my other 6 children.
Elizabeth, Margaretha and Susanna are named.
Sebastian ZIMMERMAN and Henry GRIM as guardians and exrs.
Wit: Anthony ALLMAN and Peter BRAUN.
