Individual Note: On the marriage license application, Anna spelled her name "Zeigler".
The death record in the church book for St. John's Reformed Church in Phoenixville, PA lists Anna's birth date as May 26. 1882 and that she was born in Catasauqua, Lehigh County, PA. Since the marriae license application was filled out by Anna herself, I am using the date and place of birth from her marriage license.

Individual Note: Notes on 1910 census: Mary was living at 4362 Gresson St. in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. Living with her was her mother-in-law, Dorothy Voigt (aged 76), and her parents Washington (aged 67) and Alice (aged 63) Hipple. Also living in the residence were her 2 sons William (aged 16) and Earl (aged 8). Living with the family was a boarder Rudolph Haregan (aged 40). Rudolph was born in Germany and immigrated to America in 1889. Both Mary and Dorothy were widowed and Mary had had 3 children with 2 still living and Dorothy had had 1 child, (Mary's husband), and he was dead. Alice had had 2 children and both were still living. The census indicated that Alice had been born in England and immigrated to America in 1851. Mary's occupation was listed as the proprietor of a bakery. William's occupation was listed as a salesman of electrical products and he had been out of work for 33 weeks in the prior year. Washington's occupation was listed as an engineer in a tube factory. Mary rented the house they were living in.
