From Wedding Announcement in the Village Record {CCHS Clippings FIle - 2/2/1864}:
"On the evening of the 28th inst., by Rev. W.R. Stockton, Pastor of St. Peter's P.E. Church, George W. Hipple, to Miss Alice Nuttal, both of Phoenixville."
Note: I had originally recorded a date of December 22, 1865 as the date of their marriage. I did not cite the source for this date but believe it to be one of the bibles or baby books left by Mom or Dad. Because Elizabeth was born in January, 1865 I am going with the date as recorded in the Village Record. RMZ
